About the Author

Irene Parsons has been an avid reader since growing up on a farm during hard time. She has also be writing most of her life, beginning with the local newspaper. She wrote and edited trade papers and had a weekly column in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. She is the author of Columbia Heights: Bootstrap Town, in addition to poetry, short stories, and several novels.
