About the Author

Irene Parsons has been an avid reader since growing up on a farm during hard time. She has also be writing most of her life, beginning with the local newspaper. She wrote and edited trade papers and had a weekly column in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. She is the author of Columbia Heights: Bootstrap Town, in addition to poetry, short stories, and several novels. Doria unites her passion for all things Greek, her concern for the problems of people, especially women, and her pleasure and joy in writing this story.
