About the Author

Andy Bruce was born and raised in Blackpool, England but hasn't let that hold him back. Andy started out his creative journey at an early age through drawing, and soon discovered a hidden talent for cartooning. Through school and college he used his illustrating skills to create both cartoons and short stories for school/college magazines that gained some notoriety. Later he became involved in film making and wrote and directed several films. More recently he has teamed up with life long friend Dave Blake (a talented author) who has published several children's short stories and poems, and who Andy has helped to bring the iconic characters of "Duke Palooka", "Quentin DeVere", "Sebastian", "Poe" and "Atticus Wolf" to life. As well as illustrating, Andy co wrote "The Dog Who Lost His Bark" with Dave before going on to publish his first solo project "Dracula Investigates..." He is currently working on further ideas as well as continuing to create artwork for up and coming stories written by Dave.
