Gr 4-7DuBosque has created yet another title that will please and help young artists. Most animals are given a double-page spread that includes written instructions and a series of sketches beginning with ovals representing heads and bodies and proceeding gradually to a finished drawing. A clock face shows the angles of the ovals. Together, the written directions and sketches present a simple but specific lesson that will inspire confidence. Twenty-nine animals are illustrated, including a caracal lynx, a scorpion, and a bactrian camel.
