Meet the Flintstones. When the movie begins, Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) gives his friend Barney (Rick Moranis) Money so he and his wife Betty Rubble (Rosie O'Donnell) can adpot a baby. Meanwhile, his wife, Wilma Flintstone (Elizabeth Perkins) decides to get a new garbage pig. She goes to get the money and finds it gone. She questions Fred about. He replies, ''I gave it to Barney.'' Fred and Barney work for Mr. Slate (Dann Florek). The movie villians are the company's executive (Kyle MacLachlan) and his assistant (Halley Berry) who plans to take a trip to Rock Acapulco. His mother-in-law (Elizabeth Taylor) hates him. So one day a test is taken, Barney wins, bnut switches his high-scoring test after he vows to pay him back. Fred becomes a vice president with a dictabird (Harvey Korman) as office equippement. On his first day, Fred is ordered to fire Barney Rubble. Later on in the movie, Fred gets blamed from firing all the quarry workers and they plot to get back at him. Barney gets a job as a bus boy at a restuarant, while he and Betty lives temporlily with Fred and Wilma. Bt they move out after a fight.
