Working girl Ginger Rogers tires of Big Apple life and decides to return to her peaceful Midwestern hometown. Unable to pay full-price train fare, the ingenious blonde masquerades as a 12-year old girl. The fun begins when this "little-girl" gets caught smoking by a gruff military major. Not wanting to get caught, she tries to convince him and his cadets (they are en route to a military academy) that she really is a little girl. This creates confusion among the boys who are appalled to find themselves so attracted to her. With the vivacious Roger's performance, Billy Wilder's direction and a razor-sharp script, this remains an excellent example of all a good sex comedy can be.
