About the Author

James Kraus has written and produced numerous articles, short stories, books, filmstrips, videos, and formal slide shows on a variety of outdoor subjects. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with an MS Degree in Forest Recreation and he taught forestry at Paul Smith's College for thirty years. He published a Photo Book, entitled ADIRONDACK MOMENTS in 2009, THE FORESTER, his 1st Novel in 2013, and ECO - Guardian of Nature, A Fantasy Novella in 2017. He lives with his family in Oregon.
