Effect of Non-Verbal Communication on Teaching/Learning English.
The thesis dealt with the effect of non-verbal communication on teaching English in selected Rwandan secondary schools. In this study, we examined how non -verbal communication is impacting on teaching of English in the selected Schools in Kanjongo Sector Nyamasheke District, Rwanda The research aimed at identifying nonverbal language cues used by teachers of English in the selected schools and assessing the impact of nonverbal communication on teaching English in selected secondary Schools in Kanjongo Sector, Nyamasheke District. The study explains in deep the problem identified for it to be carried out and gives reasons why it had to be conducted. The researcher explained some theories related to nonverbal communication such as Kinesics, Haptics, and paralanguage. We also referred to what other researchers wrote about nonverbal communication. The population were teachers and students of English in selected Schools in Kanjongo Sector, Nyamasheke District, Rwanda.
