Eiathan's Heir
In Hearthing, Bjorn Horsa has declared himself as Eiathan's Heir and has taken control of the court as Astarkand's new king, but before he can be crowned, fresh mayhem raises its ugly head in the nearby duchy of Firewind. In the absence of Wolof, the Duke of Firewind, who has taken the former king's ships and gone a-viking, the warriors he left behind have overrun his ducal seat of Hardeburg, captured his son, Lythis, and installed a rebellious barber and a priest of Woden in the keep. The city is in great distress. The Duchess of Firewind flees to court and risks the king's wrath to beg him to rescue her city and her stepson. Time is running out.
