About the Author

Born in Natrona Heights, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1997, Noah Matthew MacKay was raised in eastern North Carolina since 2000. In 2005 he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of eight.

MacKay started a hobby of writing fiction novels in 2013, at age 15, and keeps it up ever since. As a novelist, MacKay wrote four books from his fantasy series titled Age of War between 2016 and 2018. Since 2015, Noah MacKay also writes poetry in the German language. His noteworthy poetry publications are in the following collections: Die Gedichte (The Poems) in 2018, Sünder unter Heiligen (Sinners Among Saints) and Fünf (Five) in 2019.

In 2020 Noah M. MacKay graduated from East Carolina University with Magnum Cum Laude honors, acquiring a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature. His senior thesis for his physics degree was on the scattering theories of charged particles. As an undergraduate, he co-founded the university's first official astronomy club, became a member of Sigma Pi Sigma and Delta Phi Alpha, wrote four unpublished manuscript drafts on gravitational wave-particle duality and co-authored a published article on Weimar poet and satirist Erich Mühsam.

MacKay is currently studying physics at East Carolina University for a Master of Science. In the future he plans to obtain a doctorate and become a published theoretical physicist.
