Wonderful story of second chances and redemption

Didn't enjoy this one as much and it was a novella not full length. Barely over 100 pages. Should have charged way less.

This is such a wonderful series! I love reading about these wounded heroes and the women who love them! Cat is an exceptional woman, because no matter what Harper put her through, no matter what part of the world he ended up in, she was always there! Even this last time around when he left her and their children, for what I felt were selfish reasons because she was always more than willing to see him through any PTSD or other trauma he saw himself in, she was there by his side. She was a strong woman, but even strong, loving and confident women have their breaking points and she almost reached hers, thankfully Harper realized his fatal mistake and quickly rectified it! Those two were truly meant to be, he was an idiot not to realize that sooner but everything happens for a reason and his reasons, crazy and selfish as they may seem or be, led him straight to LNF...so there you go! I hope this series continues to grow because I, along with many other loyal readers, do so enjoy reading about these imperfect but perfectly sexy alpha warriors! SR

Harper Preston may look menacing but he has a heart of gold. J.M should receive awards for her writing the lost and found series. If you do not own this series yet you must buy them. These Military men are amazing , loving, controlled and they are only human. I promise you will fall in love with each one.

This amazing series by J.M. Madden has had me hooked from the first book! This story was great! Harper and Cat's story was amazing. I found myself wanting to cry and then be happy for them throughout the book. Love truly does conquer all with this awesome couple! Another great read by and amazing author!

Embattled SEAL by J.M. Madden is another fantastic read. Harper and Cat's story was full of drama and a bit of humor. Embattled SEAL has less action than other books in the Lost & Found series but the awesome characters and suspense kept me glued to this book from start to finish. I can't wait to read more from this talented author. Embattled SEAL is book 4 in the Lost & Found series, but can be read as a stand alone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I bought a copy of this book from the author at a book signing event.

I love the characters and all of the interaction

JM always provides us with amazing military romance stories! This story of Preston Harper’s emotional and physical challenges to get back to reality with his family is a wonderful read in JM’s continuation of the Lost and Found Series.  

I love this series! When l'm done with one book, I can't wait to pick up the next. Please don't make me wait to long! There are so many likable, characters that I want to know what happens to all of them ;)

Embattled SEAL is the 4th novel in J.M. Madden’s Lost and Found series that follows a group of “Combat Modified” veterans as they build new lives after leaving the armed forces. There are four novellas in the series, as well and all the books are worth reading and rereading. The novels are sequential and while all can technically be read as standalones, the stories do build on one another and the characters develop across the books. Chronologically, Embattled SEAL takes place after Embattled Home and before Embattled Christmas. Let me just put this out there - I think this book is terrific. Harper Preston, the SEAL in question,  has been an intriguing character since his first appearance in Embattled Hearts and every time he’s shown up since then, it’s just made me more interested in learning more about him. Madden did not take the easy way out and have Harper and his estranged wife Cat angry or hurtful with each other. This is a story of protecting their love, their marriage and their family from harm. What they had to work through was probably harder to write because the characters living the story had to treat each other with tremendous delicacy of both feeling and touch because their love never wavered in all the time they’d been a couple. Well done, really well done.  I think this is Madden’s best book to date and I look forward to the books yet to come in this series.

Love this series and have been waiting for this one for a while. Was not disappointed at all. If you like Wounded warriors and the women who love them then you must read this book. If fact don't miss this wonderful series
