What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

“Nearly every pastor I know and every church I have worked with has come to a time of bewilderment and asked: ‘What is going on!?’ They are referring to the disruption in congregational and denominational life that has consumed the American church in recent decades. Layne Wallace provides us with a crucial piece of the puzzle in this book. Not only does he describe some of the metanarratives at play around us, but he also points us toward a path through the chaos we are experiencing. This book is a helpful tool for anyone leaning into the challenges of ministry in the twenty-first century.”

—Bill Wilson, Founder, Center for Healthy Churches
