About the Author

A native of Louisville, KY, Yvette Wilson Bentley has always enjoyed creative writing but it wasn't until recent years that she decided to pursue an active career as an author. ENHANCING THE JOURNEY was Yvette's freshman publication in early 2012. Yvette quickly became an avid learner and embraced each component of the publishing process from start to finish which has solidified her foundation as an author as well as a literary entrepreneur.

Yvette founded her own publishing company, Wryte Type Publishing in 2014 and published her next title, "Thirst No More: A Woman's Journey to Restoration" in early 2015 which debuted on Amazon's Top 100 in the Biography & Memoir Short Read Division as well as the Top Five in Amazon's New Releases in the same category for the first five days of its release.

In October 2014, Yvette was welcomed into a group of Christian literary women who compiled a short-story anthology project entitled, "Love. Hope. Faith." that was produced by national bestselling Christian fiction author, Vanessa Miller and published in March 2015.

Yvette is a member of Joshua Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, under the leadership of Pastor David L. Snardon. She works with the following ministries: Sunday School, Women's Bible Study Ministry, Women's Missionary Society, Strategic Leadership Team and anywhere else within the church she can make herself available.'

Yvette is a member of the Sisters of Ruth Book Club and the M-Pact Writers Group. She has contributed numerous articles for newsletters and local magazines. She has also been a featured guest on a number of internet radio shows, including "Inspirational Talk With Toneal," "Awakened Internet Radio" and "Jerry Royce Live!"

Yvette also hosts a monthly teleconference, "Candid Conversations," headlining a variety of self-help topics and engages her audience in candid and transparent conversations. In addition, Yvette is a public speaker, workshop facilitator and life coach who has a passion for connecting with women who seek restoration in their lives.

In her spare time, Yvette enjoys reading, bowling, live music, traveling and relaxing with friends and extended family members.
