Good but I really dislike having to buy three books to get to the end result

Honestly not completing the book and trying to make someone buy the next so they can finish the story isn’t right. This isn’t a sample it is supposed to be a complete book. Waste of 3 hrs. On principle I will not read this author again

Very disappointed; another book that is not a complete story; this is only Part 1. I HATE books that do not have an ending. Not sure why this is a thing. This author is going on my "never again" list. I feel like this is just a marketing gimmick to get people to buy more books. I will not purchase another book from someone who doesn't know how to complete a story in one book. I am OK with a book two in a series but complete your storyline in the same book.

This is a type of book I don't usually read, and yet I'm glad I did. This author has a gift for story-telling.

Excellent read. Twists and turns yield a plot that surprises with each turn of the page. I was very engaged and could not put it down,

Good engrossing read... sucks you in... and the disaster that is Laurie's life leads you through one trainwreck after another while steamy sex is going down. Kind of cute. Kind of harsh. Kind of a mess. Decent read.

I thought this book was awesome. Feel so bad for Laurie, her husband has an affair, her boss doesn't tell her she sold her company and Laurie will be working for someone else. The someone else turns out to be the man she's having an affair with. The woman can't catch a break.

My Thoughts: This review is going to be difficult to write. Not because I didn't like the book, because I LOVED the book, but because I feel like I need to review this AND the sequel at the same time. I read both in one night--it was just TOO FREAKING ADDICTING to stop. There's just so much to say regarding the book, and so many things that can almost be given away if you're not careful. But I feel like I don't really have much of a choice to give *some* of it away to explain how the book made me feel. Laurie found out that her husband, James, cheated on her with her best friend. She's heartbroken, and with good reason. He wants to have her back, but she's reluctant and needs her space to figure out what she wants in the end. So, she goes away for the weekend for business, hoping to gain perspective. While she's there, she runs into Liam...literally. The attraction between the two is immediate, and their desires override the ability to think everything through. Not everything is as it seems once morning arrives, and by the end of the weekend, Laurie finds out that she hasn't seen the last of Liam. On top of that discovery, she comes home to find James still fighting for her. Let me tell you... tears... just so many tears at that scene, I can't even right now thinking about it. As the story progresses with Laurie trying to figure out what's next for herself, your heart is dragged through every range of emotion known to man, and by the end? You're so torn up, you don't even know where to begin again. Entice drew me in, kept me there, and held onto my emotions even after it was over. The story was powerful--so powerful that I still can't stop thinking about it. In fact, I want to read it all over again. S. Layne has created a gripping romance for the ages. Like I mentioned before, I had to read Embrace right after Entice--it was that good. Get your hands on this series NOW. My Rating: Exceptional

*I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review* It's pretty obvious that Entice is a steamy read and the author doesn’t waste any time there. The book starts with Laurie running into Liam and them having their sexy weekend together. Then things start getting complicated and we get to know more about her story. We are also treated to a few unexpected twists (which I always welcome).  I don’t normally like to give out anything in my reviews, but since this is on the very first page, I don't feel too bad about it. So Laurie is married and she recently found out that her husband cheated on her with his assistant, a/k/a her best friend. Having just finished the book, I am still trying to understand why I didn't feel at all how I expected to feel about these things. It might be S. Layne's writing or the way the characters were portrayed but somehow, I actually felt bad for James (the cheating husband). I would never forgive my own husband if I were to find out he did this to me so I was almost 100% positive that I would be team Liam. But I truly feel kind of torn between the two and if I were Laurie, I'd have no idea what to do. I am so surprised by this that I am extremely eager to read the next book and find out what she does, so she can decide for me as well!

Lickable Liam This book is a gripping tale from the first page until the last. I believe that it will resonate with readers everywhere due to the emotions that it will pull from you. When we first me Laurie she contemplating on whether or not to stay married to her husband who was unfaithful to her, with her best friend no less. She decides that since she's going away for her job to also decide what it is she will do. Once away she literally runs into the delightfully delectable Liam who's knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it. A dinner invitation leads to a night of mind blowing sex but what happens the morning after. No strings attached turns into SO MUCH more in this amazing story. The tale that S. Layne weaves will leave you intrigued and just when you thought all of the surprises were done for, you get hit with more uncertainty, more questions, and of course a CLIFFHANGER! I'm extremely excited for this sexy, emotional new series from S. Layne and what direction she will surely take this captivating read.
