Overview

After being kidnapped, Audrey has been trapped on Winterset for years. She's desprate to escape, but every last attempt ends with her being delivered back to her captor-the Duke of Winterset. Lord Dustin, son of the Duke of Matherburg, shouldn't be on Winterset in the first place, but he finds himself stranded on the island after a brutal storm. Things only get worse when a misunderstanding leads to his arrest. Only, when he meets with the Duke of Winterset, he finds it might not be a misunderstanding after all. When Audrey overhears the duke's plans to start war with Matherburg, she's driven to defy her captor one last time. However, between the ever-changing winter weather and the guards determined to capture them dead or alive, Dustin and Audrey soon find that escaping the tyrant is a deadly game.
