I’ll never forget the way she looked, so confident and sure of herself. I watched her from a distance. She wasn’t ready for me yet. I didn’t approach her and I didn’t disturb her, but I never once took my eyes off her.
Mallory Sullivan is ready to start her new life. After graduating at the top of her class, she’s landed one of the most coveted internships in the United States. Hard work and determination have gotten her to this moment of living the life she only dreamed of while growing up in foster care.
From the start, I knew that she would be my greatest achievement, so the day I let her go, I set down a path for her. A path to me.
She never expected Oz to be the greatest culmination of those dreams. But sometimes fate determines who you fall in love with. Who makes you lose control. Who owns your soul.
And then you realize it wasn’t fate at all…
I’ve wanted to care for and protect her since the first moment I saw her. I’ve constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her, could give her the life she deserves.
The time has come.

I can say I much enjoyed this book! To me, the awesome thing about this book is that though it was meant to be a romance, it was also a suspense book as well! Don't believe me? Then let's see what it's about! Mallory was an orphan as a child in lived in an orphanage. Despite all of that, she got a full scholorship to the college of her dreams, and right as she was set to graduate, she got an internship at one of the most prestigious office's in the world. To say she is happy in an understatement, she is absolutely enthralled. "From the beginning, I knew that she would be my greatest achievement, so the day I let her go, I set down a path for her. A path to me. No one knows it's been me behind the curtain, pulling the strings. I've constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her. The time has come." Now onto Miles part of the story (or, as he is known at the beginning of the book as the secretive Oz). The quote pretty much explains it all. He is very obssesive over Mallory and she hasn't even met him. He met her when she was about to graduate high school and he was about the graduate college. He has watched her since then and has (as stated above) set down a path for her that will lead her to him. Now that she works in his office, that time has come. As you can foresee, Mallory eventually meets Miles and they bond instantly (well...I guess she does, he already knows her, ya know?). As his secrets come out (no, nothing earth shattering), she isn't sure she wants to be with Miles. “I sit in front of her door all night. And all day Sunday. And all night Sunday.” But guys, as creepy as all of that must have just sounded, when you read the book it really isn't. Just believe me, when you read the book you will fall in love with Miles because he honestly says/does the sweetest things. I mean, the man loves his mother to pieces and treats her like a queen, what more can we ask for? Plus, he does mean well, he just doesn't want to lose someone that means alot to him (love at first sight is what we'll call this). The end of this book is hoenstly one of the sweetest/best things I have read. I just made me so happy for them! "The first time I saw you, I thought I'd woken up in the land of Oz, It was like seeing color for the first time. That all seems like alot to take in I know, and I don't want to spoil it for you, so I'll leave out all of the important plot twists that will literally blow your mind. Just read.this.book.
4 “loophole, baby” Stars I’ve been waiting for Alexa Riley’s first full novel anxiously since I knew it was coming out. With the obsessed OTT alpha hunk, the sweet and lovely girl, and some sexy shenanigans, Everything for Her was a great addition to this wonder women duo’s library. Miles, aka Oz, saw Mallory at a school competition and knew she was his. Too young at first, he had to wait for the right time, but nothing would stop him from protecting her and giving her everything she ever wanted. Now with an Ivy League education under her belt, Mallory has scored a coveted internship with the same company that sent her to Yale with a scholarship. With her best friend and school roommate, they’re both working their dream jobs, living in a fantastic apartment and everything is going according to plan. But whose plan is it? When Mallory meets a sexy stranger at a club, something about him calls to her and he quickly sweeps her off her feet. Only Oz is not who Mallory thought he was, and soon everything in her life is falling apart. Now she’ll need to decide if she is crazy enough to follow Oz’s plan for their future or if it’s just too crazy to even consider. I found both Mallory and Oz a perfect AR couple with all the extraordinary sweetness and obsessive love. She was cute, funny and driven and I loved her relationship with Paige. Oz was just so outrageous, I think he might take the Over the Top Obsessed hero of all times award. The definition of possessive and completely devoted to his girl, he was dreamy. I must confess that I was a bit disappointed at the PoV ratio, as I’m used to the usual half and half from all the AR books. In Everything for Her we get tons of Mallory chapters with only a few from Miles view which kind of bummed me. I was also expecting a lot more sextivities, and I felt some of Mallory’s thoughts were kind of in a loop, as in a little repetitive. I think her family history and Miles’ father’s story could have been expanded some more giving the story more dimension, but I really enjoyed the side characters we do get to meet. Paige’s story is coming next, right? Fun, hot, sexy and light; this was an excellent new story from Alexa Riley and I hope they keep giving us their stories be them short, long or somewhere in between. They never fail to put a smile on my face and a snort in my pillows… *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*
