The honor, however, is tinged with sadness and bitterness; her brother, whom she's never known, died on the star ship, StarFinder, many years ago when her parents emigrated from one planet to another. Now she's traveling on the same StarFinder all these years later to her new planet and alien family. Jessi's mother pleads with her to find out why her brother died under mysterious circumstances so long ago. Jessi reluctantly agrees, even though the mission is almost certainly doomed to fail, and, as she starts digging for information, she realizes her life is in danger but hiding from the truth could be even deadlier.She discovers shocking information about herself and how it's related to her brother's passing.
