About the Author

Janie Hinkson has always loved a good story; especially stories that impart and teach lessons that can be used in everyday life. From as early as she can remember she has believed and cultivated a relationship with the Lord. For years she has watched as children have faced difficult circumstances with many of them having to deal with drugs and alcohol at a young age. Faith Becomes Brave is a picture of Jesus as our Savior; how He heals and gives inner strength to overcome life's obstacles.
Janie has a Bachelor's of Science degree with an emphasis in Psychology. She has been an educator for fifteen years to the military children at Fort Hood, Texas as well as serving as Children's Minister at her local church for twelve years. She lives with her husband, Ralph of thirty years on a little ranch surrounded by animals. She loves and serves faithfully at her church and gives God all the glory. Her children and grandchildren are her greatest joys.
