I stumbled on to Frozen Past by accident. It was one of those free books on B&N. I could not believe how quick he grabbed my attention. I could not put it down. I read the second book Cache 72 and was still in awe with this author. So needless to say it was not a question in my mind to purchase Father Figure. I just had to wait a couple days before i could write my review on it, Again a page turner as the other two books. So much excitment on nearly every page. A very easy read. This author presents his storied as realistic and believable as possible, it is like reading and watching these stories unfold in your mind. Now i am waiting patiently for his next book "Eye Strain."
Awesome book! Couldn't put it down! A excellent read by a excellent author! Thank you Richard! Keep writing!
This book has an action start giving you the impression it will be the same all the way through, but this isn't the case. Things slow down but this doesn't spoil the read as it allows you to connect with Ray and Laurelyn. The other intriguing thing is you think you know who is behind everything but can't work out how it is all connected, I was a little disappointed that The Doctor wasn't in the the story more but perhaps he is to reappear in future books. That said you will find this book has everything you could wish for in a book murder, corruption, drugs, friendships and romance but most of all you are compelled to find out what connection it all has to Jaxon. Be warned that as the book nears the end and things start to heat up you will need to have some time put a side to enable you to complete it because you will not want to put the book down, thank you Richard for another great read.
