About the Author

Peg Brand Weiser is Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy at the University of Arizona and Associate Professor Emerita of Philosophy and Women’s Studies at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. She is the editor of Beauty Matters and Beauty Unlimited and served as the first chair of the Feminist Caucus Committee of the American Society for Aesthetics.

Carolyn Korsmeyer is Research Professor of Philosophy at the University at Buffalo and a former president of the American Society for Aesthetics. Her books include Making Sense of Taste: Food and Philosophy; Gender and Aesthetics: An Introduction; Savoring Disgust: The Foul and the Fair in Aesthetics; and Things: In Touch with the Past. She is a former president of the American Society for Aesthetics.
