FIBS!
FIBS! is a medieval comedy/mystery with an emphasis on the laughs. There are plenty of characters, and even some plot, but they are all there to serve the humor.

The tale takes place in 12th Century England, where the protagonist, William, is called to service in the embryonic government of King Henry II. Still, the book manages to poke fun at modern targets including financial audits, pop-up ads, and foreign policy. There is even some mock epic poetry.

Woven through the farce, an underlying whodunit proceeds rationally to a logical finish. William is glad that solving the two murders is not his job.
