About the Author

Born in Indiana, Ray Rueby served in the Army Air Corps in WWII and has a B.A. from the University of Rochester. During his long career as CEO of the family firm, he wrote management articles for trade journals, including a monthly column for an international magazine. He resides in Western New York state and now devotes full time to writing and illustrating. For this novel he chose the old-style scratchboard method, as well as pen and ink, to show the reader the author's concept of what the locale of the book and the main characters might look like.
