About the Author

Jakob Creighton is an actor, singer, and writer who is originally from Nova Scotia (located in Mi'kma'ki, the unceded and ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaq people). "For King and Country" is his first published work. Jakob has previously written television screenplays and stage plays. His first television screenplay won various accolades in 2015. He is originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Jakob holds a Bachelor of Music from Université de Moncton and a MA Performance (Musical Theatre) from Mountview Academy in London, UK. He speaks both French and English. His first full-length novel is set to be released in 2025 and he is currently writing a sci-fi fantasy novel that he hopes to have completed by the end of 2025.
