About the Author

Bob Cox is fifth geration Colorao native and grew up in the beautiful San Juan Mountains. He has traveled throughout Colorado and engaged in numerous history research projects.
After 20 years in law enforcement Bob ended up taking the reins as editor and publisher of a small mountain town newspaper, where he wrote a weekly outdoor column. He has since authored two books and writes a monthly history-based column for an internet based newspaper in Montrose Colorado.
