Forever was a beautiful novel and McCann has a beautiful way with words. The story, the structure, the voice, the characters....all magnificently woven together, creating its own music, that I danced to and read in one night. Real life characters with real life situations filled the pages and caused real life emotions....like Emotions. Tomorrow it'll be Emotions that I write a review for...because now I can't put that one down either. Jamise L. Dames author of Momma's Baby, Daddy's Maybe

'Forever' was a much needed continuation to 'Until'. I truly sympathized with the characters heartaches and mistakes. Mr. McCann made the story so engrossing, I was ready to get married at the end of the book and start my 'forever' with a loved one. This is a must read.

This is the first book I've read by Timmothy McCann, and his style of writing is prolific to say the least. The books is written in great detail so you actually feel the emotions behind each character. I'm sure anyone who is or have been involved in a relationship can relate the many challenges these characters must face in their career and personal lives in order to heal. Keep up the good work Mr. McCann, and best wishes to you in all your endeavors.

Forever was the first novel I have read by Timmothy McCann. I really enjoyed the book. The characters seemed to jump off the page and I highly recommend that you buy this book. I plan to add Until and Always to my collection. I read a lot of books by African American Authors and all I can say is He is one of the best. Try it for yourself I truly beleive you will enjoy it.

This book was outstanding. I love Betty, Drew, Jacqui and Stephan. The legal twist was icing on the cake and very well told. I have read all of McCann's books and will continue to read anything he writes. He is truly talented.

I truly enjoyed 'Until' & 'Always', then came 'Forever', which in my opinion surpassed the others by far. Not only is it well written but the characters and settings are so.. real! Congratulations to Mr. McCann on his success as an author as I anxiously await his next book. A Must Read!!

Timmothy McCann is simply wonderful. I have enjoyed both novels, Until and Forever, more than words can say. I was so moved by both of them, that I wrote the author and thanked him for sharing his God given talent. His writting is truly a blessing

After reading 'Until,' I was ready for a sequel. Some continuing dramas aren't that great, but with 'Forever,' Timm has proven to not be a part of that category. 'Forever' is a wonderful story that pulls you so deep into the lives of the characters that they're almost real!!! Buy it new and hold on to it. You'll want to read it again and again. This man is so humble in his writing that he even gave shout outs to other authors that I am now going to read!

Having had the opportunity to meet MrMcann in the summer of 2000, I eagerly awaited the release of his latest novel, Forever. It is refreshing to see career minded, seasoned adults, find love. In many circles, society dictates that to wait long for love, is not a good thing. In Forever, we see professional adults, have not only successful careers but that they find love. As we see in Forever, they each learn that they must put the same energy and drive into their relationship as they put into their professional careers. Hats off to McCann and I am waiting on the next novel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book like all the rest of his novels. The characters are real and easy to relate too. The situations are something we deal with in everyday life, at least Drew and Betty, Jacqui and Stefan had enough since to get their lives in order. I will FOREVER be one of your fans!!!

Literature in its purest most successful form has a musical quality, blending equal parts harmony and melody. The initial character development and introduction relayed as a jazz solo, with startling flourishes and relaxed instrumentation. The plot, and all it's configurations relayed through varying genres--some bass heavy, bouncy hip hop during the action sequences, and intricate classical concertos during the setups. Well, in Timmothy McCann's follow-up to the smash, Until ..., we find Betty, Jacqui, Drew, Evander, and a new character, Stefan, rummaging across the pages in the aforementioned harmony/melody. McCann is deadly with a pen, able to weave the most delicate, intricately plotted, and awe inspiring stories perhaps of all the contemporary African-American authors. Forever delves into the first difficult year of marriage, responsibility to aging parents, fidelity, spirituality/religion, and unconditional love among many other topics as well. I won't ruin the story by giving too much info, but just implore those who like to tap their feets to a blazing beat to go purchase this extraordinary novel. Kudos Mr. McCann.
