About the Author

Johnna grew up in the household of a Baptist Minister. As part of that life, frequent moves were not uncommon. Books became one of her favorite "friends", as well as activity.

Her passion for writing has been a family legacy. Grandparents, uncles and aunts have nurtured and developed previous skills as well as her Father spending many morning and afternoons writing short stories and poetry.

Johnna is the proud mother of 3 adult children and 5 grand children who affectionately call her Nonni. Many of her recent writings are based on conversations and adventures with her grands that lead to ideas and joint collaborations on the stories she has the blessing to pen.

In her career, she is a SC Licensed Life and Health agent and has spent over twenty years of her life serving her community in that capacity. Prior to that, she served as a Youth Leader, Music and Youth Leader, Community Outreach developer and Worship leader in several Baptist churches over a 28-year span.

Johnna is a graduate of the class of 1982, Laurens District 55 High School. She is also a 1985 graduate of Anderson College with an AA in Interior Design and attended Anderson University from 1992 - 1994 in the Music Education Department as an adult student, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Other than writing, Johnna loves Camping, Walking, Painting, Graphic Media, Cruising and putting off the tops of her JEEP Gladiator, allowing the wind to "blow out the cobwebs' of her thoughts while taking in the scenery her FATHER has created for her to enjoy.

Johnna is an eternal student, ever learning, ever growing and seeking to "BE INTENTIONAL" in serving all she is blessed to meet.
