About the Author

I grew up in Southeastern Kentucky on a small farm. I was born in a small older home in Laurel County Kentucky, part of which was a log home. I was educated in London Kentucky and the University of Kentucky. As did many of my age group in the 1960 s , I gave to my country the required time of service in the US Army. Over the years the appreciation for my heritage has grown to the point that this writing is a privilege and a necessity.
