Overview

After creating a new life in Seattle, Jade moves on from her painful past. She obtained her dream to become a meteorologist and leads a fairly simple life. Living with her roommates, fellow college graduates, and best friends, Chelsea and Liv, proves to be just the medicine that her soul needed. But what happens when her past comes knocking at the door, figuratively and literally? She will be forced to face the demons that took her from a small town in Pennsylvania to Washington. Demons that she didn't even reveal to her closest friends.

Jade will have to relive some sad, traumatic moments from her childhood and finally face what she has run from for so long. In the process she will find herself, find a greater purpose, and possibly even more. Will she be able to face her past and let herself fully grieve and forgive herself?

About the Author

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to write. It has always been a hobby of mine with the dream of one day publishing my own book. I am not an educated author, just a girl with a small dream to have their stories shared. Thankfully, my dream became a reality in January 2021 when I published my first book 'Full Circle: Jade's Story'. With the love and support of my family I have been able to achieve this lifelong dream.

I was born in Baltimore, MD on February 1, 1985 to William and Leslie Murphy. Growing up was always an adventure. From getting up at four o'clock in the morning to drive down to the Eastern Shore to go crabbing to hitting up the flea market every weekend to look for junk. Sports played a large roll in our lives and so we did a lot of meals on the go which was fine by me, who doesn't love Taco Bell?

Fast forward to today. I am married to my best friend and supporter, David Duncan. We met in 7th grade, September of 1996; we were in the same Art class. We pretty much grew up together. Now we have four wonderful children; McKayla, William, Carlie, and David Jr.

We love to travel and hang out as a family. Bonfires on cool Spring and Fall nights on the back deck is an absolute must. We love roasting marshmallows and making s'mores to bring the day to an end. We love to vacation down in Myrtle Beach, SC and Rehoboth Beach, DE, occasionally throwing in a trip to the Caribbean. One day we will find ourselves living on the beach.

I am thankful for the love and support I have received from my husband, children, and parents, Leslie and Pamela Mooney. Without them I may have never gained the courage to actually publish anything.
