About the Author

Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, MACC, is Director of Mount Sinai Heart and Physician-in-Chief, at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He also serves as Director of the Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute, and the Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health; and the Richard Gorlin, MD/Heart Research Foundation Professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. He is the only cardiologist to have received the highest awards for research from the three leading cardiovascular organizations: the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology.

Jagat Narula, MD, PhD, MACC, is the Philip J & Harriet I. Goodhart Professor of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, and Associate Dean, Arnhold Institute of Global Health at Mount Sinai in New York, NY.

Prashant Vaishnava, MD, FACC, is a clinical cardiologist who currently serves as Senior Medical Director for Cardiovascular Care of Biofourmis, helping lead the creation and implementation of virtual specialty care, hospital at home, and remote patient monitoring solutions.
