Amy Nielsen spent nearly 20 years as an educator. She is the mother of four children, the youngest who has autism spectrum disorder. She is also the author of It Takes a Village: How to Build a Support System for Your Exceptional Needs Family. Additionally, she works directly with families of children with exceptional needs to help them find credible resources and support.
