About the Author

By the time I was eight years old I was no longer in the corner of the kitchen. I had replaced my oldest sister who had gone off to college. This was the beginning of my joy in cooking. By the time I was 10 years old I was able to cook 20-25 perfectly made biscuits within 20 minutes, by using the palm of my hand Sorry, and eyeballing for good measurements.
I have cooked 68 years of mine 76 years of life. And I loved every bit of it. My family and friends tell me to slow down, because I am not getting any younger. Although they are right that I'm no longer young, my love for cooking will never get old. It's just like putting on very comfortable shoes, walking around in them, enjoying the feeling of those very comfortable shoes. This is my joy when I see the wonderful food my hands have made. From the age of 8 years old to the age of 76 years old, COOKING STILLS GIVES ME SO MUCH JOY!
