Growing from Trauma: Thriving Through Hope, Resilience, and Compassion

"The pain of trauma can be the catalyst for personal growth, leading us to discover inner strength and resilience we never knew we possessed." -Judith Lewis Herman

Experiences of trauma survivors are unique. Making sense of our experience begins with our stories. Often times, trauma survivors just want someone to hear their stories as they embark on a journey toward healing. To mitigate someone's suffering effectively, one needs to not only understand their emotions but also be willing to hear their story.
