About the Author

Shan Jixiang is a renowned expert in cultural heritage preservation, having served as the sixth Director of the Palace Museum and the Director of the Beijing Municipal Planning Commission. He graduated from a research institution, holds a Ph.D. in engineering, and is a registered urban planner.
