Purpose: The handbook contains a comprehensive assortment of articles that provide an up-to-date guide to the knowledge and skills that are needed to practice and understand the profession of audiology.
Audience: Although most readers will be audiologists and students studying audiology, a large number of professionals like otologists, nurses, speech pathologists, teachers and others also will be able to retrieve valuable information and references from this handbook.
Features: The book provides an introduction to the field and basic tests/procedures of audiology as well as the management of audiology, including not only the management of the audiological findings, but also the management of an audiology practice. It makes excellent use of charts and graphs, and provides a good selection of examples on each topic.
Assessment: This handbook is a must for anyone who provides any type of service to individuals with audiological issues. This edition has up-to-date information and references.
