About the Author

Suzanne Everett was a senior nurse practitioner in sexual health and worked in sexual health and HIV clinics in London, including the Margaret Pyke Centre, the Camberwell Sexual Health Clinic, the Marlborough Clinic and the Ian Charleson Day Centre until 2023. She was an Associate Professor in sexual health at Middlesex University. She has a PhD that focuses on student nurses’ experiences of sexuality in clinical placements. Suzanne is an independent prescriber and worked previously as a practice nurse and nurse specialist in contraceptive and sexual health services, beginning in 1991.
