About the Author

Reuben A. Burrows holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Towson University and a Master's in Music Education from Shenandoah University. An alumnus of The Perelman Jewish Day School (formerly Solomon Schechter Day School), located in the Philadelphia area, he brings elements from his Jewish upbringing into his compositions. As an accomplished choral educator and composer, he is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for students of all ages, using storytelling to inspire deep emotional engagement with music. Mr. Burrows has taught music at the elementary and middle school levels and, as an active musician, he frequently serves as a guest conductor and adjudicator.
