PreS-Gr 2-This concept book describes various hairstyles worn by children. While the story is original and represents various ethnic and cultural norms, the writing is in a choppy style reminiscent of ``Dick and Jane'' books. Many phrases rhyme but there is no story line or plot, and there is little that will hold the attention of young readers.
