About the Author

I was born in a sweet little village called Ghayghat, on the outskirts of Samastipur, Bihar. It isn't much famous as the village has evolved into the usual, unremarkable, suburban hell hole, clones of which dot India. So I came to Metropolitan city New Delhi which assures a better middle class life instead of Village. Growing up in a New Delhi with more criminal story than was necessary, it was no wonder that how the Jay Vasan came in my mind. Ironically, I was drawn to the detective serials - CID, and Sherlock Series. I wondered about their magical world. But my fascination remained dormant for many years, emerging only briefly to taunt and irritate my pious aunts during family gatherings. Life went on... I became a graduation student; joined the Delhi University; get a new set of motivational and inspiring friends and start working on meaningful projects "meaningful for me". But the Sleuth figure of Jay Vasan would not leave me alone. For more than four months he haunted my dreams, walked with me, and urged me to write his version in the story. As I started, I recalled the murder mystery of New Delhi giving it a name. And the story started, don't know from where the characters came to introduce himself/herself. Aditi, who is the sister and mentor of Jay Vasan, helped him to go through Healer Killer.
