About the Author

Dr. Premissa Acoff has been called by God to the healing and deliverance ministry for over 20 years. Dr. Acoff has a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology specializing in Spirituality in the Workplace and a double Masters in Human Resource Development and Managerial Leadership. In 2003, God birthed Healing For Your Souls Deliverance Ministries as a platform to address the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of hurting people, especially in the house of God. In 2022, God birthed Acoff Training and Development as a platform for executive coaching, consultation, and training and development of individuals, teams, and organizations in the area of Spirituality in the Workplace.

For over 30 years, Dr. Acoff has worked in diverse human services fields in various professionals roles, such as sexual assault advocate, domestic violence program manager, mental health and substance abuse counselor, social services director, probation and parole officer, and the various roles in the prison system. Through leadership training, workshop development and facilitation, executive coaching, and organizational consultation, Dr. Acoff strengthens the mind, will, and emotions (soul) knowledge base concerning self and others in order to promote the attitude of service in all.

Dr. Acoff’s focus is on well-being (flourishing) and safety from within utilizing a strength based approach. This approach focuses on the individual’s strengths, abilities, and gifts to ensure motivation, satisfaction, and well-being in the form of a unified soul that is well and safe for the imbibing (drinking in) of others. In addition, this approach allows for transformational excellence where future possibilities are visualized because of one’s strength's, abilities, and gifts, which ensures individual growth, learning, and change. Dr. Acoff’s work centers on repairing the breach.
