This book is basically a long love letter to Seneca Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes in upstate New York. I moved to the shores of this lake two years ago and decided to document some of the intriguing aspects of the lake, history, legends and present day attractions, as well as describe how this lake has helped to healed me during times of crisis.

Sylvia Rooming Apple is an artist and writer living in upstate New York. She is a graduate of Penn State University's college of Arts and Architecture. She has written five books, all of which can be found on Amazon.com. Her artwork has been shown in exhibits and galleries through out the US, including Penn State University and the National Quilt Museum in Paducah Kentucky.
