Mayra Luz Colón was born in New Jersey but grew up on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. There she was exposed to many exotic foods, wild fruits, and living more within nature. She took an interest in holistic alternatives, and learning how to cook at very young age. She has earned a certificate degree from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
