About the Author

My name is Ida Rebecca Kos. I am the daughter of Betty Jean Davis Lane and the granddaughter of Ida Bates Davis. Our hearts were broken in 2016 with the death of my mother, Betty Jean and the death of Rosie Desmond Bates Miller. It has been tough without them around. I have often sat back and thought about all these wonderful people in this book and the many stories that have been told. It is hard to believe that they have all passed away. I know in my heart that they are all now together and are celebrating in their heavenly homecoming.
