Thought it was a great book myself -- great characters, imagery and action. Suttle tends to be a bit highbrow for the average reader. Had to laugh at the idiot who read 50 pages before he realized it was a book about college.
Rick Suttle is a fraternity brother of mine and the second half of the book which concentrates on joining a fraternity is deadly accurate...outrageous but accurate. I haven't laughed so hard since the events of almost 30 years ago that are described in the book. A must read for anyone who has been to college.
Man, what a waste of time and money. I read 50 pages and then stopped after realizing all this is is some idiots exaggerated recount of his freshman year at college which we all could write a book about! And, he sounds like he was a dumb, alchohalic and violent loser who had little or no success with the girls!
