Welcome to the pit where the danger is never ending, the sea monsters are multiplying, and Lucifer is playing with hearts.

Big deal, so he kept losing the oar. It wasn't Adexios fault the Styx monsters were working against him, but tell that to his dad. Charon is determined to make a man out of him--whether his mother likes it or not--and Lucifer has offered to help. Help means sending Adexios in to the wilds of Hell with an Amazon warrior as his companion.

The savage fighter doesn't know what to think of her geeky partner. Adexios attracts Valaska with his brains instead of brawn. He also shows a cunning courage she can't help but respect.

They'll need all the skills they can muster, though, if they're going to prevail against the newest threat to Hell. With the wilds submerged by seawater, and monsters hungry for flesh, they'll have to fight to stay alive, and learn opposites not only attract, they explode. (With passion, not guts, in case that wasn't clear.)

I love this series. My favorite character is Lucifer. He is hysterical and I literally laugh out loud when he talks. The author writes the hero and heroine in a way that makes you really like them and want them together. They have their faults like any normal person and they are easy to embrace. The only negative was the cliffhanger at the end. I would start at the beginning of the series if you have not read any of them. I can not wait until the next one comes out!!!!

Hell’s Geek Welcome to Hell Series Book #5 Eva Langlais 4.5 Bookgasums Who knew Satan was a romantic and a lover of rubber duckies In book five of the Welcome to Hell series we once again meet an Amazon warrior only this time she is to be a main character. We also get to meet Charon’s clumsy, nerdy son who was mentioned in book four briefly. Ms. Langlais has done it again. The book has humor, intrigue and romance all rolled up into one story. I could not find any structure or grammar errors which gives this book a standing ovation. Nothing I hate more than finding errors in a book. This book seemed like two stories in one. We had the geek and his warrior romance story but we also had a glimpse into what I can only assume will be book 6 or at least a tie in to Ms Langlais’ other hell series. In addition to these parts of the book we also had a developing story of Satan’s upcoming wedding and now a new villain who I am sure we will be seeing a lot more of. I cannot wait to see what will come next. Both in the story line but also in Satan’s hand tailored apparel. Who can resist a man with horned rubber duckies in all the right places?

Another fun story in Eve Langlais' Welcome To Hell series. Here we find Charon's son Dex being matched with an Amazon Warrior woman Valaska. Dex being a "Geek" is by no means a coward and takes on the challenges Lucifer has set before him with intellectual bravery. Lots of excitement, adventure and smexy love scenes as Dex and Valaska can't help but fall in love as they journey thru dangerous parts unknown to solve the mystery of what and whim is flooding Hell. Lucifer and his amazing sense of humor and flare for style could give Match.com a run for its money as he couples off many of his subjects. Believing there is a war coming Lucifer is determined to raise an army and what better way than by playing matchmaker and watching his kingdom grow. The story was hysterical with Eve Langlais' most special flare for humor. An awesome exciting sexy very funny book get ready to go on a magical adventure and laugh out loud a lot.

This is a great addition to the Welcome to Hell Series. Adexios, "Dex", is our hero, and is a nice change from the other males in most of Ms. Langlais' books. Instead of her usual take-charge, kill-them-first-ask-questions-later type, Dex is charmingly clumsy and more of a thinker. It made for a nice change. Valaska, our heroine, is the warrior here. I have to admit, I didn't like her as much as some of Ms. Langlais' other heroines, but she made a nice foil for Dex. The book was full of the humor I expect from one of Ms. Langlais' works, and the plot moved along nicely. As always, Lucifer is a fun character, and we got to see quite a bit more of him then we do in most of the rest of the series. I don't give terribly many 5 star reviews, but this book hit all the right notes for me. It was funny, there was a plot and not just instant sex, and Dex is the type of guy I would love to meet in person. Overall, I would recommend this book to any reader that likes humor, both in language and in slap-stick situations, isn't afraid of suggestive language and a smattering of sex scenes. While it can be read as a stand alone, if this is your first Eve Langlais book, I would recommend starting at the beginning of the series. The world building will make much more sense and it will make your read more enjoyable. If you are used to Ms. Langlais but just haven't read this series yet, you could probably get away with starting here because you are used to her style, but I still think you would enjoy it more in order. I would say this is tied for my 2nd favorite in the series. It is definitely worth the time and money to add it to your collection, and will be a book I come back to again when I’m in need of a quick pick-me-up. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review. Full disclosure: I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Love, love this series from Eve Langlais! Lucifer and his machinations crack me up!! You never know what he's going to do next. His current mission is to rebuild his army from the children of couples he brings together (yep! Luc fancies himself a matchmaker). This time he matches the geeky Adexios with the warrior Valaska....two completely opposite people that just seem to work. Sigh! They'll be no living with Lucifer after this success. Lol. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion*
