About the Author

Monica Bond is a wildlife biologist who has studied animals ranging from salamanders, owls, and voles to seals, wildebeests, and giraffes. Her community conservation and education work with Wild Nature Institute in Tanzania is helping to ensure a future for rhinoceroses, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife of the African savanna.
