Sarah Hoetz had been a child star but in her late teen years she had fizzled out. But she had become a wild child and it had almost cost her life. Now she is Gideon's personal assistant and he is the movie star. Sarah really cares about Gideon but she doesn’t want to be in the spotlight again. Even though Gideon wants more Sarah won’t let anything happen as their one kiss had been taped and went viral. Sarah’s fears seemed well founded to her. This was a good book and I enjoyed it. A good read and a good romance. I loved the characters especially Sarah and Gideon and all the ups and downs they went through. I recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

This was a fun and light story about best friends in love. I enjoy the author's style to write, it is uncomplicated and entertaining, making it easy to follow the story, and even though the book is part of the series, can easily be read as a stand-alone novel. Gideon and Sarah/Red have amazing, sizzling chemistry. They truly get each other, like only best friends can. Not only are they attracted to each other, but the care, protect and take care of each other. But Red is not ready to live with her feelings towards Gideon, doing all she can to deny her feelings. I liked Gideon and Red together, all that they shared and meant for each other. Sarah has overcome so much to be able to be where she is now, and Gideon had stood by her every step. Gideon is very charismatic, even though he had some childish impulsive moments, like getting married while Red was drunk. He was desperately in love, afraid to lose her, and that lead into some questionable actions. I'm not sure how I felt about the fact how lightly Sarah's drinking was taken. She had fought herself sober, after serious abuse, and her drunken night in Las Vegas left some concerns in my mind, or mainly that it wasn't addressed more seriously. I'm not a big fan of Gabe. I could not figure out his motives behind his behavior, and there obviously were some. Was he just a jerk, getting his kicks from messing with other people's lives, or was he really that clueless about actions having consequences? For a fun and light read, this story surely left me pondering. But overall, I liked Gideon and Sarah, the connection and affection they had together, and was glad I had the opportunity to read the final installment in the Kelly series ~ Three Spoons

I've only read book six of the the series, so I can't really compare it to most of the series. I liked Gideon and Sarah's relationship, both as best friends and eventually as lovers. Gideon is a really sweet guy and I loved that he did not give up on Sarah. Gabe played a big part in their story and I hope we get to see a HEA for him. I'm deducting points only because the ending seemed rushed to me. Overall a really good story that can be read in a few hours. I received an ARC for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

Gideon Kelly and Sarah Holtz have been best friends for a while now. They met when they were both on the set for a TV show, where he played her love interest. In order to keep their friendship on the right path, they have both agreed to leave it in the friend zone./ Now, many years later, Sarah is his assistant. She is a recovering alcoholic who blew through her savings and ruined her career. He keeps her sane and gives her purpose. She runs his life and keeps it smooth. Sarah fights her attraction for him. When he is out with other women, jealousy tears at her. She is scared to move forward. She wants to be independent and be able to support herself. Gideon has been in love with her for a while. He even asked her last year to give him a chance. This was followed by a month of silence that he never wants to live through again. Now he is scared to approach the love and friendship borderline. If she rejects him again he has no idea how he will bear the pain. Such a great addition to the Kelly Brothers series. Can be read as a standalone. There are other members of the Kelly family who make an appearance in the book and add to the fun! I loved the easy going friendship and trust they have. I like the mystery weaving through it also. ***This ARC was given by Netgalley.com and its publishers in return for an honest review.

Here All Along,  Crista McHugh Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews Genre:  Romance, women’s Fiction, I was a bit underwhelmed by this read...I love the friends to lovers and movie/rock star tropes so was really looking forward to this. Sadly though it was one of those that was just an OK read for me. I loved Sarah/Sage/Red – she was a strong lady who’d worked hard to get over her troubled past. I could understand why Gideon had fallen on love with her. He was a lovely man too – very unaffected by all the fame, very genuine and they’d work well together – it was easy to see why she loved him, also easy to see why she was so scared. A great start I thought. Then we meet Gabe, co-star of the latest film with Gideon, and it went downhill. Gideon on his own was fine, Gabe though seemed to be just weird... together they were like a couple of eleven year olds. The pranks were one thing...yeah, even adults do those ( she sniggers thinking of ones we’ve done) but they way they came up with this idea to get /Sarah and Gideon together. It was disaster right from the start and the more it went wrong the deeper they got...I could see this being such a great read but their plans just didn’t ring right for me, felt like something a pre teen would have dreamed up...McKenzie, the other co-star was terrific, a gen-you-iyne stereotype, a totally vacuous airhead. Her parts really made me smile. Sadly I think there are people like her, so self obsessed they think everyone loves them and the world revolves around them. She got some great lines in that made me smirk. Gideon and Sarah in the beginning were promising, but once Gabe got involved it began to feel so unreal. The whole making a top film surely is more synchronised, more organised than we saw, and from a great start it just went downhill for me. It did tie up well, and made for a complete and rounded story but its not one I’d reread. Stars: Two and a half. there were parts I enjoyed, the start was promising but it just went downhill for me from there. ARC supplied by Netgalley and publishers

Sarah had been at the top In Hollywood and then lost it all when her demons consumed her. Her savior was Gideon Kelly. He was her rock and she cared for him, but she wants to avoid the spotlight. She is happy being Gideon's assistant, but he wants more. What's going to happen now that Gabe Harrison knows who she is? Sarah is such an interesting character. She is overwhelmed by fear. I wanted her to trust Gideon and to take a chance on their love. He cares so much for his best friend. Such gentleness and tenderness made me fall in love with him. What a hero! These two need a nudge which they got from Gabe. He has meddling down to an art form. He's such a rogue. I know that he had his own agenda but he is such a charmer. This story was addictive. I wanted a HEA but I wasn't sure how that was going to happen. Crista McHugh ended The Kelly Brothers series on a high note. It's a roller coaster ride filled with love, passion and humor. I loved it but I'm sad when I realize it's the end.

Here All Along is Crista McHugh’s seventh and final book in her Kelly Brother’s series. Here All Along is Gideon Kelly’s story. He is the youngest of the Kelly Brothers and is a Hollywood actor. Sarah Holtz (aka Red) currently is his assistant. She is a former actress with a troubled past. Gideon and Red have known one another for years as she was by his side when he first entered the business – showing him the ropes. He has seen both her ups and downs, and he has remained by her side hoping one day that their friendship could become more than that. He wants a relationship with her but she’s afraid that it would ruin their friendship. I loved seeing both the strong and weak side to Sarah’s character. She has no problems running Gideon’s career, but when it comes to dealing with her own troubled past and future endeavors she has misgivings. She knew she made mistakes and basically went into hiding – hiding from her successful past as an actress. Now, she has an opportunity to return to the life that she enjoyed before falling off the wagon. Can Gideon help her see beyond the reservations that she has and seek the career that she wants to grab onto? Gideon’s afraid that Sarah will leave him. She basically turns her back on him when he tries to take their relationship to another level. She wants to strike out as a fashion designer, but he’ll do absolutely anything to keep her in his life…Enter Gabe Harrison, Gideon’s current co-star, and let the games begin. I loved Sarah and Gideon. I loved Gabe’s interference in their relationship. And I loved Gideon’s mother. Add this up and you have a heartwarming story of love and the desire to never give up on what your heart is telling you. This is a standalone book, but I think everyone should read the first six books just because each one is so beautifully written. I highly recommend Here All Along. I’d like to disclose that I received an advance copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.

4 stars for the final book in the Kelly Brothers series This is the seventh and final book in this series. We get Gideon's story this time around and it is a friends to lovers series. Sarah or Red, has been his assistant for 3 years. She had been a famous actress but since the downward spiral that ended with her in the hospital she has been enjoying life out of the spotlight as Gideon's assistant. Gideon already made his thoughts clear when he offered to have something more with Sarah but she closed him out for a month so despite his feelings he doesn't want to act out on them. Things change when a little prompting and jealousy brought on by Gabe his costar Has things changing and quickly between him and Sarah but how will she react when she finds everything out. I liked this book but didn't love it as much as some of the others in this series. I just didn't feel the connection and chemistry between the H/H. The wete more like brother and sister than anything else. I wanted more steam and I would have loved a little more angst. Interesting to me is that Adam continues to be the only character that keeps resurfacing throughout the series but we don't ever really get more of the couples. Regardless, for fans of the series you will want to read this and for those who have never read any other books in the series you can definitely read as a stand alone. Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Oh how I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! I have ready all the Kelly Brothers and love them all. I am sad to see this series end.. maybe we can talk Crista into a novella sometime. I read this story in just an hour an half the other night. I did not want it to end. Crista is very talented and I look forward to reading anything she writes. She never disappoints. Get this series if you haven't read it. You will enjoy falling in love with all of the Kellys. This is Gideon Kelly's story, and it is an amazing and was worth the wait to finally get to know more about the Hollywood actor of the family. He doesn't want to go through that again, but he is afraid she is going to leave him and he doesn't want to lose her. Sarah is not who every one this she is. Gideon knows the truth but can they keep it from coming out? Will she be able to handle her identity coming out? Can he win her heart once and for all. The last book of the Kelly Brothers series, really sad to see it ending. This book is Gideon's story, he's the youngest of the 7 brothers and is the actor of the family. I liked this story because it follows the 'friends to lovers' troupe which is always a fun and heartfelt read. Gideon has grown up in the movie business with Sarah Holtz, who is now his assistant but originally was a child star in the business herself. She's actually the one who showed Gideon the ropes and how to maneuver/party their way through the system until drugs and alcohol threw her wheels off and she dropped out of sight. She's been happy being out of the limelight but is now realizing she wants more, she's just not sure if 'more' means a new career or Gideon or both. Gideon knows what he wants, Sarah, but is going to be need help in order to convince her. What I like about the author is that she hasn't made the HEA resolution to this story seem like a repeat of the six previous Kelly books. Gideon is the youngest brother and IS still young and therefore acts like a young man would most likely act in similar situations. (Granted this is fiction). Meaning I thought some of his decisions were goofy or just plain immature, but, when I looked back in the context of the story, it fit what his character might do. There's a reason he calls his oldest brother Adam for advice and then also talks to his Mom. He's the baby of the family and I don't think the youngest ever outgrows that label. I may not personally be attracted to that, but the actions definitely fit the character and therefore fit the story and make it standout from each of the other six brothers' stories. Sarah's character is complex and the author could have gone really deep with her, but I liked that she just kind of skimmed alot of her emotions. It kept the story lighthearted. You end up with a fun Summer read with just enough angst to keep it interesting and then for fans of the Kelly Brothers, you get a good story to round out the series. ***I would rate this 3.5 stars. I did receive a free copy for an honest review***

This is the seventh and final book of the Kelly Brother's series and it makes me sad. I love everything about this series and wish it would not end. Gideon Kelly is the youngest of the Kelly boys and he is an actor in L.A. Without the help of "Red" his personal assistant, he would be lost. But with her by his side for the last three years, Gideon has come to realize that he has fallen in love with her. Back in October when he mentioned them being more than friends, she ran and after a month she came back with the intention of leaving and doing her own thing. Which is being a fashion designer, something she has been working on lately. Gideon doesn't mention more with her for fear of he leaving him for good. Which he would not survive. So now they are in Vegas for Gideon to film a movie while she keeps him on track. When things get a little off track with the help of Gabe Harrison, Gideon's co-star, can Gideon make Red see the truth? And one wild night will lead to something Gideon wants more than anything but will Red feel the same way? And will per hast come back to haunt her? I have loved each of the brothers in this series and I hate to see it end. Maybe there will be one with all of the brothers to see what everyone is doing a few years down the road. And with Mrs. Kelly, mama bear of the Kelly brothers, it would be another great story from Crista McHugh. **Copy provided by the author in exchange for my honest review**

That one person you can count on above all else. Crista McHugh has written a lovely novel about just that. Here all Along is the story of two friends as they travel that risky road to love. Many road bumps have to be overcome. The bright lights of stardom, layers of insecurities, mistrust and an enduring friendship all factor into the outcome of this story. All of these things combined are what made Here All Along a mesmerizing look at all that love entails. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
