For fanatics only. My own Ramones fanaticism is all that carried me through this very annoying hodgepodge of a book. Still waiting for a good Ramones biography.

I loved this book. I am a huge Ramones fan and this was one of the best books about them I have read. I thought I knew a lot about Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee, Marky, and Tommy, but this book went into such depth that each time I read it I learn something new. This is a must for any Ramones fan.

Their music is just as innovative and great today as it was in 1976, it doesn't sound dated at all. Like Johnny Cash, the Ramones became bigger than their genre. They were loved and repected by fans as well as musicians and changed the face of music without the help of the music industry. Read this book and see what all the fuss is about. You won't be dissapointed. Then check out Dee Dee's books.
