About the Author

Antoine Dalmas was a surgeon at the Gallifet plantation and witnessed the insurrection unfold first hand.

Jonathon B. Schwartz has a lifelong love of history and started this endeavor while working at Colonial Williamsburg. He currently resides in Virginia with his family.
