About the Author

Dani and Jenna Hickman are a mother-daughter team. Together, they developed the story and characters for their first book, How About A Pineapple? Dani enjoys working in a creative environment as a representative of The Madden Corporation. Twelve-year old Jenna is a student at Highlands Intermediate School where she participates in the Student Council, volleyball team, and Media Club. Dani, Jenna and their family reside in Waipio Gentry on the West side of Oahu with three dogs and a flourishing garden. This is Dani's second book with Island Heritage after the success of her first publication, Pono, the Garden Guardian.
