Overview

It's okay to have questions. But you need answers you can trust.

How can I know there is a God?
How can I know the Bible is true?
How can I know there is life after death?
How can I know how to forgive someone who has hurt me?

You're not alone in wrestling with doubts and uncertainties: every one of us - no matter our age - has questions about these real-life concerns. What's more, many Christians can't readily explain the reason for their hope, as 1 Peter 3:15 advises.

In How Can I Know? Dr. Robert Jeffress tackles the seven most common and consequential of these questions and makes a compelling case for answers you can embrace with confidence. Combining the best research available with the most persuasive arguments, Jeffress offers you renewed hope, assurance of faith, and powerful tools for understanding - and explaining - life's essential answers, all in a listener-friendly format.

In an age of information overload, simplicity is essential. These steadfast yet simple truths will do more than answer your questions. They'll equip you to defend your faith and share it with conviction.

Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Audio

Pastor Robert Jeffress’s book is aimed at the doubting Christian. Structuring his text around seven fundamental questions, the pastor considers how one can know God exists, how one can know the Bible is true, and how one can know that Christianity is the right religion. Jeffress’s narration is crisp and clear. There’s a jauntiness to his tone, which dissipates slightly when he begins talking about atheists. Proof of God’s existence is clearly a personal and important topic to him—and this comes across in his reading. His narration is very precise, perhaps because Jeffress wants to ensure every point is properly communicated. The downside to this approach, however, is that Jeffress often sounds as if he’s reading lecture notes, and this ultimately makes his narration stiff and unpersuasive. A Worthy Book paperback. (May)
