Ani (age 82) and Kate (age 73) met in a Tai Chi class several years before Covid. They knew each other slightly and were polite. It wasn't until after lockdown that they discovered they needed each other as they both lived alone. Everyday they walked and talked and sang. They knew the same songs. As children they both lived in Queens, N.Y. Quickly they became fast friends. Like sisters they were comfortable and connected. Both women are writers and Kate an illustrator. Out of this friendship they decided to collaborate and write and illustrate a little book about How to be Happy in Times of Stress.
